How Wavlength works

Wavlength is a creative marketplace for Musicians and creatives. Wavlength's mission is to democratise the exposure of creative talent & opportunity through meaningful connections/collaborations via our creative marketplace. We provide tools, resources and connections for Musicians and creatives to provide services through our creative marketplace.

Can I change my Username?

Your username is your unique identity on Wavlength and it cannot be changed. If you want to use another username, you need to close your account and create a new one.

Can I change my Email ID?

An Email ID is associated with an username. You cannot change email ID for an account.

Why was my account blocked?

Your account was reviewed by our Trust & Safety team, and permanently disabled. When your account is blocked, you are not able to log into Wavlength. You can contact customer support. For more information, see our Terms of Service.

How do I create a Wavlength account?

Wavlength user is allowed to avail a service or provide a service. The difference comes when a user decides to start offering service through Wavlength.

1. From the Wavlength homepage, click Sign up.

2. Select whether you plan to hire a creative or you plan to provide services

3. Enter all the information requested 

Note: 

- Your username cannot be changed once you've created your account.

- Your username is your display name (within your Wavlength), so choose it wisely.  

4. Click Register.

5. You are now a registered user on Wavlength. An email will be sent for you to activate your account.

6. Within the email you receive from Wavlength, click Activate Your Account.

You can still continue to use your account but would not receive any notifications through mail.

How do I find a service and initiate request

Wavlength offer all services from creatives. By using Wavlength search, you can narrow down your search to find exactly what you are looking for.

In Home Page, from Search Panel, enter your criteria and Click on Search.

Once on the result page, you have option to search on more specific criteria. 

The following are the search criteria 

  1. Creators 
  2. Projects
  3. Frequencies

You do have option to search based on creative type as well. 

Look for the work the creative has done through projects 


I found the creative I am looking for, how do I work with them?

Once you found the creative you are looking for, review the plans currently being offered by them. The creative offer customised plans as well. Select Initiate Request and provide your requirements. The Initiate request allows you to connect with the creative about your requirements.

To Initiate a request:

  1. Once logged in, search for the creative through Search panel. Select the creative username to view their Plans. 
  2. On the Creatives Plan page, click on Initiate Request. 
  3. Describe the service you are looking for and attach any relevant files. This will help the creative to cater for your customized request. 
  4. Select the duration for your service to be delivered. 
  5. Enter the budget for the service requested for. 
  6. Click Send Your Request.

The creative will receive your request and respond with the subscription. You have option to respond by accepting or rejecting the subscription shared. 

How do I accept a subscription?

  1. Once you login, click on Plans & Services in the left Panel
  2. Select Purchases under Subscription card. 
  3. Click on the card related to your request
  4. If you like the subscription shared by the seller, Click accept else click Reject.
  5. Clicking Reject will provide you with option to enter your inputs. The inputs will be shared with the seller. 
  6. Once you accept, proceed to pay for the service. Once you complete payment, the seller will start to work on your request. 

How do I cancel my order and get my funds back?

You have option to cancel your order request by visiting the subscription page. There is option to cancel the subscription at any point in time. The refund will be initiated as per the cancellation policy of the plan.

How do I reject a seller's work?

Once the seller has delivered the work, you have option to reject the work and ask for revisions. If you reject the seller's work there won't be any refund initiated. You have option to ask for revision. You have option to provide feedback on the seller based on your experience.
